JLPT N5
The N5 kanji
The first 103 kanji: numbers, days of the week, time, people, places, directions, and the verbs you use every day (see, go, eat, read). Most have few strokes and clear meanings, which is why every path starts here. Learn them in groups of five, draw each one, and the pattern of radicals starts to show.

There is no official list: the JLPT stopped publishing one in 2010. This is the list most textbooks and apps agree on, from KANJIDIC2. Close enough to be useful, not a promise.
