詞 is a JLPT N2 kanji meaning part of speech, words, poetry, written with 12 strokes. It is read シ (on) and ことば (kun). Children in Japan learn it in grade 6. You will see it in 代名詞 (だいめいし, pronoun) and 形容詞 (けいようし, adjective).
