撤 is a JLPT N1 kanji meaning remove, withdraw, disarm, written with 15 strokes. It is read テツ (on), and has no common kun reading. It is one of the jōyō kanji taught in secondary school. You will see it in 撤退 (てったい, evacuation) and 撤廃 (てっぱい, annulment).
